YORK, Pa. — Welcome to the next month of the FOX43 Book Club!
We are partnering with local libraries to create a Book Club featuring authors from Pennsylvania, highlighting the stories of our surrounding communities.
July's pick is "Romancing the Pages” by Kristin Anderson Iwancio, perfect for a summer beach read!
"Romancing the Pages" finds bestselling author Mari Quay in the middle of a quandary: she must write about romance to appease her literary agent, but she has never been in love. Enter Ben, a beach town librarian who offers to help Mari research love through a series of purely scientific fake dates. Although their relationship is strictly professional, it may not stay that way by the end of the summer.
Kristin Anderson Iwancio has been passionate about writing since first grade, with lots of support from her teachers. She first dabbled in fanfiction before deciding to write her first book in September 2022. The writer has added four more novels to her collection since. Iwancio is smitten with romance, but she is also interested in branching into paranormal romance, fantasy and sci-fi.
Those who are interested in reading along with the Book Club can find the book at many online retailers or at libraries in the surrounding area. Readers can also ask their preferred library to request the book from Access PA, a statewide library resource-sharing network.
