PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Shoppers: Get your credit cards ready, because both today and tomorrow, Amazon is offering discounts on all sorts of items in honor of Big Deal Days.
Believe it or not, customers will be starting their holiday shopping this week. In fact, 51% of people plan to begin their holiday shopping by the end of this month, according to Bread Financial.
Experts say some of the best discounts you'll find during Amazon's Big Deal Days, especially for Prime members, include tech items like Kindles, Ring Doorbells and all sorts of Echo devices. These discounts are looking to be up to 60% off.
But Amazon spokesperson Sam Fisher says the Amazon brand isn't the only one showing off the deals.
“We're going to have great deals from top brands like New Balance and Dyson and then Lego and Barbie,” Fisher said. "So, whether you're getting that, you know, blow dryer, you're getting the toys. It doesn't matter. We're going to have a little something for everybody that's on Prime, Big Deal Days."
Experts say when looking for deals, you want to be organized and plan your purchases, compare prices of these items, plus look for extra savings and any special offers.
This may also be a good time to purchase any household or beauty items you need to restock. As for those non-Amazon branded tech items, better discounts will likely be seen for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. And some toys will likely have better deals as we get closer to December.
