HARRISBURG, Pa. — Leap day only comes around once every four years, so hospitals across central Pennsylvania are celebrating all the unique birthdays!
UPMC Harrisburg welcomed its Leap Year babies into the nursery with a special onesie.
Sasha Gutshall is the mother of the first baby born at the hospital today. Her baby, Rian, was born early this morning.
"I am a unique individual, so having a leap year baby in my family is just [perfect]," Gutshall told FOX43.
According to the Associated Press, there are about five million people worldwide who share a Leap Day birthday.
