ADAMS COUNTY, Pennsylvania — A central Pennsylvania lottery player had the Christmas gift of a lifetime yesterday.

According to the Pa. Lottery, a winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at R&S Service Center in Gettysburg, Adams County.

On Dec. 25, the winning ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 5-12-20-24-29, to win $1 million.

However, the player wasn't the only one who walked away with a prize; the store additionally earned a $5,000 bonus from the Pa. Lottery.

Pa. Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Prizes won at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.
