MILTON, Pa. — Rutter’s on Tuesday announced the groundbreaking for a new, 13,500-square-foot "prototype" store in Northumberland County.

The new store will be located on Industrial Park Road off Route 147 in Milton, the company said. It will open by the end of the year.

"The brand-new Rutter’s will have 12 auto-fueling positions and five commercial fueling lanes, and be open 24 hours a day," the company said in a press release. "The store will also include Rutter’s best-in-class food menu with billions of Made For You combinations, Rutter’s 29-degree beer cave, an extensive wine selection, Spiked Slushies, and Video Gaming Terminals."

Rutter’s plans to employ fifty people at this location, with new team members currently starting at $18 per hour.

In addition to Rutter’s typical offering, the 13,500 square-foot design will also introduce a brand-new look and game-changing features, exclusive to the chain…so stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
