A Lancaster businesswoman has been named as one of Forbes 30 under 30.
Sara Taylor, cofounder of Taylor Chip, was named to the prestigious list under the "Food & Drink" section.
"I feel blessed, honored, and have so much gratitude," the owners posted on Taylor Chip's Facebook page. "When we started Taylor Chip 5 years ago, I couldn’t have even dreamed of this. It was a 13x8 market stand. A 6 qt kitchen aid mixer. And a 'what if' this doesn’t work out."
Sara and her husband Doug started baking cookies together as a hobby when they were first dating.
The couple used the cookies as their wedding favors, and then a friend suggested they open a stall at the now-closed Lancaster Marketplace. The couple eventually decided to take the leap, quit their jobs and devote themselves to making cookies full-time.

When he puts something on your heart/life, you get an undeniable favor from him and that’s what I’ve always felt like we have had (through the trials and the “easy times”).
There’s countless people who have helped along the way from family, friends, team members, mentors, and you all… our cookie friends 🥹
But my biggest supporter is my husband, Dougie. You continually push me to be the best me and challenge me to grow past my own limitations. We wouldn’t be able to do it without each other ❤️ And that’s the honest truth.
