HARRISBURG, Pa. — The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the Lancaster and Harrisburg areas rose .7-.10 cents in just the past week, according to recent data.
According to a report by GasBuddy, the average price of a gallon in Lancaster County rose .10 cents in the last week to $3.62, and the average price in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties rose seven cents to $3.60 this week.
The current price in the Harrisburg area is .22 cents higher than at this time last month, though it is three cents lower than at this time last year.
According to GasBuddy, the national average price of a gallon of gas has risen .10 cents in the last week and .22 cents in the last month for an average of $3.34 today. The number is three cents lower than a year ago.
Prices in York County remained steady, rising just .1.5 cents on average over the last week to an average of $3.66 per gallon.
