$3 million lottery ticket sold in Dauphin County

The retailer which sold the winning ticket, a 7-Eleven in Hershey, will receive a $10,000 bonus.

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced on Tuesday that a 7-Eleven in Hershey sold a $3 million-winning Mega Bucks Scratch-Off.

The 7-Eleven, located at 305 West Governor Road, will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Mega Bucks is a $30 game that offers top prizes of $3 million. Interested players can learn more by visiting the Lottery's website here.

Scratch-Offs are distributed randomly, meaning that the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The Lottery only learns where winning tickets are sold after a prize has been claimed.
