LANCASTER, Pa. — The winter season is here!
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will host a hiring event at their Lancaster County maintenance office in East Lampeter Township on Tuesday.
They invite job seekers to learn about winter temporary and permanent CDL operator transportation equipment operator trainee and diesel equipment mechanic positions available this season in Lancaster County.
The hiring event is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Winter temporary and permanent CDL operator position have a starting pay at $22.05 an hour. Transportation equipment operator trainee positions have a starting pay at $20.78 an hour, and diesel equipment mechanic positions start at $27.21 an hour.
