The Broad Street Market is looking for a name for its tent, and officials want to hear from members of the community!
The market posted on Facebook, "The Broad Street Market, where community, culture and culinary delights converge, is a cherished hub in our vibrant city. Now, we want YOU to be a part of its legacy by naming our iconic tents."
The contest dates are as follows:
- Submission Period: May 23 at midnight to June 22 at 11:59 p.m.
- Naming Committee Selection: June 23 to June 25
- Community In-Person Voting: June 26 to July 6
- Announcement: July 10
Interested participants can enter online here or by submitting an entry form at the Broad Street Market Merch Stand in the Tent.
The contest announcement was made a mere day before Harrisburg City Council reversed its vote to reject the market's construction company manager, the Alexander Building Construction Company.
