House fire breaks out in Lancaster County

Dispatchers said no one was home at the time of the incident.

The fire was upgraded to a 2-alarm, but crews report no one was hurt.

MARIETTA, Pa. — Update: The fire in Marietta Borough is under control and no injuries have been reported. 

Crews are still on scene, assisting with cleanup. 

Previously: A house fire in Lancaster has been upgraded to a 2-alarm fire. 

The call came in around 11:40 a.m. this morning for a residential fire on the 200 block of West Walnut Street in Marietta Borough.

Dispatchers say crews reported sounds of an explosion within the building but they have not identified the source. 

No one was home during the incident, according to dispatchers.
