WILLOW STREET, Pa. — A Lancaster County man faces multiple charges after allegations that he raped a 13-year-old girl, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
Yadiel Diaz, 19, of Willow Street, is accused of having inappropriate sexual activity with the victim three different times.
The Pequea Township Police Department began investigating the accusations on Sept. 12, 2023, after receiving a report from the Lancaster County Children and Youth Social Services Agency.
The victim allegedly told law enforcement that Diaz, then 18, had an Uber pick her up and take her to his home. He would then send her home in another Uber.
Police say a search warrant executed on Diaz's Uber account corroborated the 13-year-old's claims.
He is accused of rape (forcible compulsion), unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault (less than 16), corruption of minors, statutory sexual assault (4-8 years older), sexual assault and indecent assault (less than 16), according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
Diaz waved his preliminary hearing and now awaits his arraignment on March 8. He is being held in Lancaster County Prison.
