Police seek help identifying suspect in Dauphin County assault case

The suspect allegedly threatened another person while brandishing a handgun during an incident on the 200 block of Liz Lane on August 28, police said.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Dauphin County police department is seeking public help in identifying the suspect in an assault case.

According to Swatara Township Police, an officer on patrol at about 9:24 p.m. on the night of Aug. 28 was flagged down by a victim on the 200 block of Liz Lane. The victim reported that three people approached them as they were sitting in their vehicle. A male suspect produced a handgun and began yelling and threatening them.

A responding officer saw the suspects running on the 300 block of Kristy Lane, but was unable to detain them. 

The victim provided a photo of the suspect who produced the handgun to police.
