HANOVER, Pa. — The Hanover Borough Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect accused of robbing a 15-year-old boy overnight.
Officers say the strong-armed robbery occurred just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30 in the 100 block of Moul Avenue in Hanover Borough.
The suspect allegedly approached the boy "to engage in a sales transaction," police said. The man then allegedly physically attacked the teen, taking his money, a cell phone and drug paraphernalia.
The victim was able to get away from the attacker after receiving some minor injuries.
The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a slender build and short blond hair. The man was allegedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with an unknown logo.
