CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Police are still searching for a second suspect accused of robbing a bank in Mechanicsburg on Christmas Eve after their alleged accomplice was arrested in Maryland, according to Cumberland County Crime Stoppers.
The robbery occurred just before 11:15 a.m. on Dec. 24 at an M&T Bank on Simpson Ferry Road in Hampden Township.
Police said on Oct. 29 that Jorge Gutierrez, accused of being an accomplice in the bank robbery, was arrested in the area of Elkton, Maryland in connection to this incident.
The individual shown in the photo above is still at large and considered to be the primary suspect in this case, officials said. Police describe the suspect as a man in his late 50s to early 60s in age, who at the time had long white hair below the ear.
The vehicle involved in the robbery is a white Cadillac Escalade with North Carolina license plate BCP8814, authorities said.
