Police investigating multiple early morning burglaries in Lancaster County

Police are searching for the pictured suspect, who is accused of robbing several businesses on West Main Street in Leola between midnight and 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 13.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Police are searching for someone who allegedly robbed multiple businesses in Lancaster County the early morning hours of Feb. 13.

The East Lampeter Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the pictured suspect, who is accused of robbing five businesses on West Main Street in Leola between midnight and 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Steffy's Garage was one of the five businesses hit.

“We have a half hour of footage of him in here working, totally unconcerned with anyone around, he was just doing his job," owner Tom Steffy told FOX43.

Cindy Sipe is a long-time customer of Steffy’s and was upset to hear about what happened.

“They don’t deserve to have people breaking into their properties and stuff," she said. "They work hard to have what they have.”

The suspect also hit Rosario’s Pronto Pizza, Gracie’s On West Main, Furman Funeral Home and Helen's Bar.

He got away with cash, though owners say not a large amount.

At Steffy’s, inspection stickers were stolen.

“If they’re stolen, the state sort of suspends you, we can’t buy new stickers, and you need stickers to do inspections which is a big part of our business," explained Steffy.

Every place the suspect hit, he broke in, by throwing a rock through a window.

"It doesn’t even appear he tried to open any doors, he automatically just went to throw a rock through the window," said Steffy.

“I’m upset because this is a nice neighborhood, this is a nice community," added Sipe.

Another business FOX43 spoke to, Joe's Famous Wings & Wieners, says they were hit a week or two ago. They believe the same suspect could be responsible.

Officers ask that anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious, captured surveillance video of the suspect or has information on the suspect to contact the ELTPD by calling (717)291-4676 or submitting a tip online.

Police shared this video of the suspect:
