Camp Hill man arrested after stabbing

Police took the man into custody following a seven-hour standoff.

CAMP HILL, Pa. — On Thursday evening, officers were sent to a home along the 100 block of Erford Road after county dispatch got a 911 hang-up call.

According to the East Pennsboro Township Police Department, officers arrived on the scene and were met by a woman who said she had been assaulted and stabbed by a man who was now barricaded inside the house.

Following a nearly seven-hour standoff, during which the man reportedly threatened police and threw things at them from within the house, he was arrested around 1:24 a.m. 

The unnamed man is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault, and terroristic threats. He is awaiting his preliminary arraignment.
