CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Carlisle man has been arrested and is facing a slew of charges, including rape of a mentally disabled person.
On June 20, after a multi-month-long investigation, Middlesex Township Police obtained a warrant to arrest Waren Mena, 31, charging him with rape of a mentally disabled person, indecent sexual assault of a person with a mental disability, financial exploitation of a care-dependent person, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
With the assistance of the Carlisle Borough Police Department, Mena was located and arrested later that evening.
He was transported to Cumberland County Prison and was unable to post his $35,000 bail.
