Police: Pregnant woman died of fentanyl overdose; suspected supplier arrested

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A Chambersburg women was arrested yesterday for allegedly delivering drugs that resulted in a pregnant woman's death.

The Chambersburg Police Department says Amanda Yost sold drugs to a pregnant woman who was found dead on Sept. 10, 2023 due to a combination of drugs including fentanyl.

Yost was charged with drug delivery resulting in death, criminal homicide of an unborn child, third degree murder of an unborn child, delivery of a controlled substance and related charges.

She is being held in Franklin County Jail, unable to post bail, according to police.
