CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Police are investigating a stabbing that reportedly left a victim seriously injured in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the Chambersburg Police Department, crews were dispatched to Legendz Bar at 1:12 a.m. for a reported fight involving a knife.
Over the course of the investigation, officers determined that Basil McLeod, 38, stabbed the victim several times in the head, neck and back, leaving him seriously injured.
The victim was transported to the Chambersburg Hospital but was later transferred to a trauma center.
McLeod was charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault.
