LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man is facing multiple charges for possessing child pornography, according to the Manheim Township Police Department.

Officers say they received a tip from National Center for Missing and Exploited Children claiming that an image of child pornography had been uploaded to the social media platform Discord from a house in the 300 block of Travis Lane just after 10:30 p.m. on March 11.

After obtaining a search warrant, officers seized several electronic devices from the home of Kenneth Rader, 60, on Aug. 29. The seized devices included an iPhone, a laptop, an external hard drive and various compact discs.

The devices were analyzed and each found to contain multiple files depicting child pornography.

Rader is charged with four counts of child pornography and three counts of criminal use of communication facility, court documents show. He is next scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 29.
