Coroner identifies two after York shooting

A 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old man have died after a shooting in York on Wednesday night. A 34-year-old man was also injured, but is expected to survive.

YORK, Pa. — Update, April 16: The York County Coroner's Office says autopsy results show both men died from multiple gunshot wounds by manner of homicide.

Previously: Two men have died following a shooting in York Wednesday night, according to the York City Police Department. 

Police responded to the reported shooting on the 500 block of West Market Street around 11:15 p.m. on April 13, also according to police.

On the scene, police found 27-year-old Jordan Simpson, who suffered a gunshot wound. He was given medical aid, but succumbed to his injuries at the scene, authorities said. 

Shortly after, police received a call that two more shooting victims arrived at an area hospital. One of those victims, a 34-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound and is expected to survive. The second victim, 30-year-old Miguel Roman from the 500 block of West Market Street, was pronounced dead just before 2 a.m. on Thursday. 

Detectives are continuing to investigate.
