CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — State Troopers in Carlisle responded to an incident involving a suspect impersonating a public servant at a prison on Wednesday.
According to State Police, Rebecca Frye, 30, of Mechanicsburg, was attempting to take custody of an inmate from SCI Camp Hill while posing as an FBI agent.
Officials soon found that Frye had no affiliation with the FBI, and she was charged with attempted escape, impersonating a public servant, defiant trespassing, hindering apprehension and criminal use of communications.
