SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — One person is dead and another is fighting for their life after a stabbing in Shippensburg, according to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).
Troopers with the Carlisle Station say they responded to the first block of North Washington Street around 10 p.m. on Oct. 27 for a report of two people who had been stabbed.
Police say one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second person was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The deceased's identity is being withheld until next of kin are notified, troopers said.
There is no threat to the public, according to PSP.
The investigation is ongoing.
