LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Delaware woman is facing three felonies after allegedly robbing two banks in Pennsylvania.
Kesha Walker, 47, from Wilmington, DE., has been charged with robbery-threatening injury, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Walker robbed a bank on June 8, 2023. Pennsylvania State Police in Lancaster received a call from an alarm company indicating an alert at the Truist Bank located in Salisbury Township.
Troopers arrived at the bank and it was determined that a woman, later identified as Walker, reportedly walked up to a teller and passed a demand note indicating that she wanted only $50s and $100s.
The note said she had a gun, but no gun was observed.
Walker was given $2,900 and fled the scene, reportedly traveling southbound on SR 41 in a dark green Lincoln MKZ.
On June 28, troopers were able to identify Walker as the owner of the car.
Then on Sept. 11, 2023, troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police Media Barracks responded to the WSFS Bank in Glen Mills for a reported bank robbery. The woman, also identified as Walker, reportedly passed a note demanding $50 and $100 bills and that she had a gun.
Walker received $300 and fled the scene in a car believed to be used in the Lancaster County robbery.
Troopers were able to track down Walker's car and tow it due to an expired registration. Walker traveled with troopers to retrieve her car, and when questioned about her vehicle being linked to two robberies, allegedly confessed to the crimes.
Walker was arrested and placed in Lancaster County Prison before being released on bail.
