LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster County Drug Task Force announced the recent arrests of two men accused of conducting unrelated drug operations on the same day in the same East Lampeter apartment complex.
Keith Thompson, 43, and Jan Abreu-Vizcarrondo, 24, both of the 1600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike, were arrested by the LCDTF with the assistance of Pennsylvania State Police, the Department of Homeland Security, and the East Lampeter Township Police Department on April 18.
Thompson was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana; possession of oxycodone pills; possession of drug paraphernalia; and person not to possess a firearm.
The Lancaster County Drug Task Force and Federal Bureau of Capitol City Safe Streets Task Force began investigating Thompson’s alleged involvement in cocaine sales in February and made multiple undercover purchases from him through April, the LCDTF said.
Investigators executed multiple search warrants on April 18 on Thompson’s storage unit in the 100 block of Stonemill Road, his residence in the 300 block of Mill Street, and an apartment in the 1600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.
In total, police confiscated approximately 144.3 grams of methamphetamine, 40 grams of cocaine, 2,351.5 grams of marijuana, 14 oxycodone pills, various drug paraphernalia, one handgun, and $55,990.00 in cash from Thompson, the LCDTF said.
Thompson was unable to legally possess a firearm due to a prior conviction. He remains in Lancaster County Prison on $750,000 monetary bail.
The Drug Task Force said began investigating Abreu-Vizcarrondo in January for his alleged involvement in selling large amounts of marijuana, which he traveled to Philadelphia to purchase and bring back to Lancaster County.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Abreu-Vizcarrondo’s apartment in the 1600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike on April 18, and confiscated approximately 10,247 grams (22 pounds) of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and $9,248 in cash, the LCDTF said.
Abreu-Vizcarrondo was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free after posting $50,000 bail.
