LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — An accused drug dealer was arrested in Columbia with nearly 200 grams of meth, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
Frank Newcomer, 52, of Columbia, was being investigated by the county's Drug Task Force, the DA's Office said. Undercover officers and confidential informants used pre-recorded money to make several purchases from Newcomer between July 2023 and February 2024.
Law enforcement served a search warrant on a Columbia home on Feb. 22 and allegedly found 97.2 grams of methamphetamine, 15 strips of Suboxone tabs, 13 Lorcaserin pills, $764 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a loaded handgun.
Officers say Newcomer was arrested while brandishing a loaded gun, and a second person in the home was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant from New Jersey and extradited for prosecution.
Newcomer is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, two counts of aggravated assault to a law enforcement officer, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
