LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County man was arrested after a months-long undercover operation by the Lancaster County Drug Task Force, the county's District Attorney's Office announced today.
The Task Force began investigating Chene Skowronek, 44, of Stevens, in December 2023 for selling methamphetamine. Investigators made multiple undercover/confidential informant purchases from the suspect using pre-recorded money through this April.
The East Cocalico Township Police Department stopped Skowronek in the 1800 block of N. Reading Road at approximately 5 p.m. on April 11. He was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and arrested.
A subsequent search warrant by the LCDTF and ECTPD was executed on Skowronek’s residence. Investigators found:
- 259 grams of methamphetamine
- 14 grams of cocaine
- 67 clonazepam pills
- Various drug paraphernalia
- 3 handguns
- 5 rifles
- A ballistic vest
- $525 in cash
Skowronek is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine and clonazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted $50,000 bail on April 16.
