Brothers allegedly responsible for bomb threat at Franklin County Court Complex arrested

Jason Rogers, 33, and Chadwin Rogers, 34, both of Chambersburg, are accused of calling in a bomb threat to the Franklin County courthouse on Wednesday.

Police have identified two suspects in connection to a bomb threat at the Franklin County Court Complex yesterday.

Jason Rogers, 33, and Chadwin Rogers, 34, both of Chambersburg, are accused of calling the courthouse to warn that an explosive was going to detonate inside. Law enforcement personnel responded to the scene just before 2:05 p.m. on April 11.

Officers evacuated the courthouse and surrounding area before sweeping the area with K9 teams. No bomb was found, and the scene was declared clear.

Police say the threat was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing risk to the public.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested Chadwin on the morning of April 11, according to Chambersburg police. He is charged with conspiracy- terroristic threats cause evacuation of building etc. and conspiracy - criminal use of communication facility, and he is being held in the Franklin County Prison.

Jason was arrested on Tuesday, April 23, according to the Chambersburg Police Department. He has been charged with terroristic threats and criminal use of a communication facility.
