DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Halifax man was arrested on Thursday and is in prison following an investigation into a case of child sexual abuse.
State police are charging 70-year-old Joseph F. Ruby Jr. with two counts of indecent assault, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors.
Police said they started an investigation after they got a ChildLine report of suspected child sexual abuse in July 2023.
Ruby is in Dauphin County Prison after failing to post bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for the end of October.
