Harrisburg Police searching for shooting suspect who critically injured victim

According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, the shooting took place in the area of North 2nd and Locust Streets at about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police in Harrisburg are searching for a suspect who left one person critically injured in a shooting early Sunday morning.

According to police, at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, while monitoring the 200 and 300 blocks of North 2nd for bar and restaurant closings, officers heard multiple shots fired in the area of North 2nd and Locust Streets.

Once at the scene, officers discovered a single adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then transported to a hospital for emergency care and was last listed in critical condition.

Harrisburg Police have determined that the man seen in the attached video, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans, is responsible for the shooting.
