HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Harrisburg.
The Harrisburg Bureau of Police says it responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Evergreen and Thompson Streets around 11:45 p.m. on April 18. Officers found a 43-year-old male dead when they arrived at the scene.
Authorities have identified the victim by his fingerprints, but have not yet released his identity pending notification of kin.
He is believed to be from the Huntingdon area, authorities said.
On Tuesday, April 23, Erick Boone was arrested and charged with murder, criminal conspiracy to commit murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, person not to possess a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.
The charges stem from Boone's alleged involvement in the April 17 murder.
