Investigation underway for East Lampeter Township hit-and-run

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened last month in Lancaster County.

The crash occurred on the 2700 block of Lincoln Highway East in East Lampeter Township on Aug. 24. at approximately 5:30 p.m. 

Authorities say the suspect was driving a pickup truck and rear ended the vehicle in front of them while traveling eastbound. This vehicle then crashed into a third vehicle that was in front of it. The suspect, sustaining damage to the front end of their vehicle, fled the scene. 

The suspect was seen driving westbound on Lincoln Highway East following the incident, then driving south on S. Cherry Lane and north on Rt. 896.
