CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a man accused of impersonating a police officer.

Troopers say a victim reported being pulled over by someone driving a black Cadillac Escalade with a blue and red "bubble" light attached to the roof around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 13 while driving on Route 1 in Upper Oxford Township, Chester County.

The victim alleged that the Cadillac had tailgated them for several miles before activating what appeared to be emergency lights and sirens to pull the victim over.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set man between ages 40-50 who stands approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall. The suspect has black hair and was wearing a police-style uniform with a badge, PSP said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Troop J - Avondale Criminal Investigation Unit at 610-268-2022.
