CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County jury convicted a man for years of sexual abuse of a minor.
On Feb. 1, Joseph Tondo was found guilty of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse of a child less than 16, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, indecent exposure and unlawful contact with minors.
According to the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office, the verdict was reached after a three-day trial where the victim detailed years of sexual abuse she experienced at the hands of Tondo.
Tondo is currently in prison awaiting his sentencing hearing.
