NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — A Lancaster County man has been charged with 18 felony counts and six misdemeanors related to the alleged statutory sexual assaults of a 15-year-old girl and the rape of a 13-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint filed by New Holland Police.
Nigeir Ormond Martinez, 24, of New Holland, was charged last week following an investigation that began in July, New Holland Police said in a criminal complaint.
Police began investigating on July 3, when the mother of the 15-year-old victim discovered the alleged sexual relationship and reported it to authorities, according to the complaint. She allegedly supplied the victim's phone to investigators, and a forensic examination of the device uncovered four videos depicting the victim engaging in sexual activity with a male subject matching Martinez's physical appearance.
Police were also able to match a tattoo seen on the male subject in the video with a tattoo on Martinez's forearm, the complaint states.
On August 28, New Holland Police received a report from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services that accused Martinez of raping a 13-year-old girl. The alleged sexual assault was reported by the victim, according to the criminal complaint affidavit.
The victim told police she knew Martinez and was an acquaintance of the 15-year-old victim. She told police Martinez raped her earlier that year, ignoring her requests for him to stop.
As a result of the investigation, police charged Martinez with two counts of statutory sexual assault, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, four counts of indecent exposure, three counts of sexual abuse of children (B1), one count of sexual abuse of children (B2), one count of indecent assault, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of sexual abuse of children (C), one count of corruption of minors, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility for his alleged acts against the 15-year-old victim.
He is also charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, false imprisonment, corruption of minors, and indecent exposure for the alleged rape of the 13-year-old victim.
He is being held in Lancaster County Prison after failing to post bail of $100,000 for the first arrest and $300,000 for the second, according to court records.
Preliminary hearings for both cases are set for October 26.
