LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County man has been sentenced for repeatedly sexually assaulting a minor.
According to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, 20-year-old Yadiel Alexis Diaz of Pequea Township will serve three to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old on three separate occasions in June and July 2023.
Authorities claim that Diaz, 18 years old at the time of the incidents, lied to the victim by telling them that he was 17.
The incidents occurred at his house late at night and Diaz would reportedly return the victim to their home early the next morning. During the final encounter, Diaz reportedly continued to assault the victim after they reported being in pain.
He reportedly told the victim that they could not tell anyone about the incidents or else he would go to jail.
