Police search for wallet theft suspect at Harrisburg-area Costco

The suspect allegedly stole a wallet from a customer at Costco and made more than $3,000 in purchases at a nearby Sam's Club, police claim.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police are searching for a suspected wallet thief at a Harrisburg-area Costco.

According to Lower Paxton Township Police, the theft occurred on October 26, 2023 at a Costco located on Jonestown Road.

The victim reported they left their wallet unattended in a shopping cart while walking through the store. While they shopped, someone took a credit card from the wallet and used it to make more than $3,000 in unauthorized purchases at a nearby Sam's Club located on Grayson Road, police said.

The pictured suspect was seen on video surveillance using the stolen card to make purchases at the Sam's Club, according to police.
