DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Editor's note: The above video is from Oct. 6.

Police have charged a man in connection to a deadly October crash in Harrisburg that left a pedestrian dead.

Harrisburg Police have charged Ricard Contreras-Cordero, 56, with Homicide By Vehicle in connection to the Oct. 6 crash in the 300 block of North Second Street in Harrisburg.

Investigators say that Contreras-Cordero was traveling north on Second Street at a high rate of speed, left the roadway, and struck and killed 68-year-old Harrisburg resident Eusebio Forestier. Forestier was on a mobility scooter outside the shop when he was struck and killed, according to the Dauphin County Coroner's Office.

Store owner Jason Crocenzi told FOX43 in October that Forestier was a customer of the store.

“He had been in just a little bit earlier than that and was on his way back because he saw some more stuff he wanted and he was right out front and the vehicle struck him," explained Crocenzi.

Police say anyone with information on the crash can contact Harrisburg authorities at 717-558-6900.
