LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster man is facing multiple charges after police say he contacted a minor and asked for nude photos.
Ryan Michael Minzer, 34, is a registered sex offender who is required to register all social media accounts with the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law.
Police say Minzer of the 1000 block of Olde Hickory Road, tried to get nude photos from a 13-year-old victim through Facebook Messenger.
Minzer did not disclose having any social media accounts to law enforcement.
Police say a search warrant into Minzer's Facebook account revealed he communicated with multiple people and regularly sent them selfies.
According to police, Minzer admitted the purpose of his communication with minors was to have sexual conversations.
In addition to having a Facebook account under his name, Minzer also confirmed having a Discord account under the username LordRagnarBlade.
He is facing multiple charges of sexual abuse of children, criminal use of a communication facility, failing to provide accurate registration info, and corruption of minors.
