One person injured in Lancaster shooting; police are investigating

The shooting occurred after an altercation in the area of Fruitville Pike and Delp Road in Manheim Township Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person Wednesday afternoon in Lancaster.

It occurred at 4:22 p.m. on March 13 in the area of Fruitville Pike and Delp Road, according to Manheim Township Police.

According to initial reports, the shooting occurred after an altercation. One of the people involved fired a single round from a handgun, striking another person, who sustained a non-life-threatening injury.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
