LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Maryland man will face charges that he traveled to Millersville and attempted to have sexual contact with a 14-year-old he met online.
According to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, Timothy Beachley, from Bel Air, had charges of attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor bound over to the Lancaster Court of Common Pleas following a preliminary hearing.
Testimony from the victim revealed she knew Beachley as "Eric" after meeting him on sugardaddy.com where they talked for a day or two about sexual topics.
On Aug. 20, 2023, Beachley allegedly drove to Millersville and paid for the victim to have her nails done. The victim then testified Beachley expected oral sex and touched her thigh during the encounter.
The victim reportedly hid in the nail salon bathroom and testified that she was scared before police were called.
Millersville Borough Police Department Sergeant Jason Scott testified that video evidence showed Beachley and a juvenile in Beachley's car on the day of the incident.
Beachley was charged on Jan. 24, 2024, and posted $150,000 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 26.
