DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Police across multiple Pennsylvania counties are working together to determine what happened to a woman reported missing earlier this year.
Tracy Scanlon, also known as Tracy Zalenski, has not been seen since she left a Wine and Spirits store on Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg in late February. Police say she has not contacted her family or friends since then.
Scanlon was allegedly staying with an acquaintance in the 3000 block of Union Deposit Road before her disappearance.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide. The Susquehanna Township Police Department is collaborating with law enforcement agencies in Allegheny County, where Scanlon was originally from. The investigation is being handled in Dauphin County.
Multiple police agencies were searching the area of Canal Road and the Susquehanna Trail in York County, which began around 8 a.m. this morning and wrapped up just after 4 p.m.. According to Ted Czech, the public information officer for York County, the search is related to Scanlon's case.
