HARRISBURG, Pa. — Harrisburg Police have charged a man in connection to a murder in the city in January 2023.

Stafford Wedderburne, 31, is already in prison on homicide charges stemming from a different case in October 2022, police said. In that incident, Wedderburne is accused of shooting and killing 23-year-old Jordan Allen in the Hall Manor section of the city. He was charged in March.

On Tuesday, Wedderburne was charged with murder, robbery, burglary, and other offenses in connection to the death of Milton Washington, whose body was found in a South 16th Street home on New Year's Day in 2023, according to police.

The Dauphin County Coroner's Office ruled Washington died of complications from stab wounds and other traumatic injuries.

Police did not release additional details in the Washington case, which remains under investigation.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Harrisburg Police at 717-558-6900 or submit a tip online.
