FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Newport man pleaded no contest to charges alleging that he was responsible for the death of his 3-month-old daughter in 2020, the Perry County District Attorney's Office said.
Pennsylvania State Police began investigating Bronson David Miller, 26, when he brought his dead daughter to a hospital on March 6, 2020. Doctors discovered signs of trauma on the girl's body, indicating that the child was physically assaulted prior to her death.

He reached a plea agreement on Feb. 1, court records show. Miller is scheduled to be sentenced on April 1 at 9 a.m.
