PENNSYLVANIA, USA — A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for allegedly making threats against Governor Josh Shapiro.
Pennsylvania State Police say on Dec. 1, someone in Maryland forwarded them an email sent from Blayk Bridges' email account that threatens to "beat the [expletive] out of" the governor.
Bridges, 25, of Hyndman, allegedly sent the email on Nov. 20, shortly before 5:45 a.m. It contains various menacing messages expressing displeasure with the governor and the subject line "I'm going after the Governor of Pennsylvania," according to court documents.
Bridges was charged with one count of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another.
He has been held in Bedford County Prison since Dec. 1. He is next scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 13.
