LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — An apartment building under a bomb threat was found to be safe after being searched by police.
On Saturday, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department was contacted by Lancaster City Police about a possible bomb threat at a building in the 800 block of Pearl Avenue in Penn Township.
Officers arrived at the apartment building and did an initial search, after which they evacuated all tenants until a K-9 could do a more thorough search.
A K-9 from the Cumberland County East Pennsboro Township Police Department searched the building but found no threat.
Multiple local agencies were at the scene to help.
Police are continuing to investigate.
