DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Update, April 17: The Criminal Investigations Division identified the shooting suspect.
Deunta Proctor was arrested on April 16, and the gun he allegedly used was also recovered, according to the Susquehanna Township Police Department. Officers say Proctor was known to the victim.
Previously: Police are at the scene of a shooting in Dauphin County, according to the county's 911 Dispatch.
The Susquehanna Township Police Department is investigating the scene at Motel 6 on 4125 N. Front Street in Susquehanna Township.
One person was taken to the hospital, according to police. A dog was also injured in the shooting, police said. Both are receiving treatment for their injuries.
Officers do not have a suspect in custody.
