Self-proclaimed 'white supremacist' at Lancaster festival calls woman witch

According to police, Geoff Belforti, 40, was threatening individuals at a Lancaster festival with a gardening tool while calling himself a white supremacist.

LANCASTER, Pa. — A man was arrested after creating a disturbance at a Lancaster City festival on Sunday.

According to a criminal complaint from police, Geoff Belforti, 40, went to a festival in Lancaster with a "three-pronged cultivator" and made statements that he was a white supremacist.

Belforti reportedly told a female victim "My people would have murdered your people" while calling her a witch.

Officers were called to the scene after hearing reports of the disturbances just before 8 a.m., and Belforti attempted to flee numerous times while threatening to use his gardening tool on police.

Belforti was charged with one count of criminal attempt - aggravated assault, one count of evading arrest on foot, one count of resisting arrest and one count of disorderly conduct.
