LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A teenage suspect is in custody after a shooting that left one injured in Lebanon County, according to the North Cornwall Township Police Department.
Luis Correa Gomez, 17, is facing aggravated assault, among other related charges, for his role in the shooting.
Officers say they responded to a report of shots fired in the 1700 block of Center Street just before 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17.
At the scene, police found a 21-year-old victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Witnesses allegedly told police that Correa Gomez rode a scooter to a residence on Center Street and began arguing with the people there. He pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at several people during the argument, according to a criminal complaint.
Police say Correa Gomez had begun to leave the scene on his scooter when the victim ran after him. Correa Gomez fired one shot, hitting the victim in the right shoulder.
