17-year-old suspect arrested for Lebanon shooting

The North Cornwall Township Police Department arrested a 17-year-old suspect after a shooting in Lebanon County, officers said.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A teenage suspect is in custody after a shooting that left one injured in Lebanon County, according to the North Cornwall Township Police Department.

Officers say they responded to a report of shots fired in the 1700 block of Center Street just before 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17.

At the scene, police found a 21-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He is being treated at the hospital.

The Lebanon City Police, North Lebanon Township Police, Cleona Borough Police and the Lebanon County Detective Bureau assisted the NCTPD with arresting a 17-year-old suspect. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, person not to possess a firearm and other related charges.

Police say the shooting was an isolated incident.
